I booked accommodation for us in Cessnock as a base for our wine travels. Of course in the Hunter we were served their trademark Semillon and Hunter Shiraz – yes, aromas of ‘sweaty saddle’!
We visited some great wineries but the standouts were Brokenwood, Keith Tulloch, Tulloch, Tyrrells and McWilliams
