Pre-party in central London at Jo’s house. In attendance was Dave, Wooly, and my sister, Tammy.
NYE Venue: Brixton Academy feat Fergie and Tall Paul
We caught a tube to Brixton and headed straight into the academy. We all got frisked for weapons on entry before heading to the bar. They only served beer out of plastic cups which was a bit of a bummer.
Coming into the main auditorium, it became clear how big the place was. Fergie did a pre-midnight set and Tall Paul took over at 12. We partied til drop and then (somehow) got a cab home.
We decided not to go to the Erick Morillo day party at Ministry of Sound on New Year’s day, not sure if that was a good or bad idea…
